EconApex is a website managed by a non-profit association called OpenAPaper. The aim of this association is to detail research in economics and management in order to make it easier to use, understand and reproductible. It enables authors of scientific articles to post data and codes associated with their publications on the EconApex website. It also enables all researchers to post on EconApex an appendix of the mathematical reasoning contained in any scientific article.
The association is funded by research centers and universities.
Downloading files is free of charge.
Uploading and publishing files requires an account.
Submission and publication are free of charge.
To register, click on the “Register button” link. Then simply fill in a form with your personal details and academic affiliations.
File publication is based on the following steps:
– The researcher registers on EconApex.
– Submit data, codes or appendix.
– The reproducibility of his results or the demonstrations contained in his appendix are evaluated by the editorial board.
– These files will be published once they have been approved by the editorial board.
You must be the author of the empirical papers to publish the data and codes on EconApex.
However, all researchers are invited to provide an appendix detailing the mathematical reasoning developed in the theoretical papers.
OpenAPaper takes no copyright on the data, codes and appendix published on EconApex.
All data formats and software types are accepted. A Pdf ( LaTex, Matlab, Mathematica…) file is recommended for the appendix.
The publication of files takes less than six weeks.
